Working with Don is such a huge pleasure. They are one of the most professional, hardworking, and creative people I have worked with, but most of all, they are kind not only to me but to everyone on the team. Especially when collaborating or receiving feedback, Don is highly receptive and applies what they learn from each project to the next, making them an extremely strong designer. Beyond the business side of things, their kindness shines above all else and makes every interaction a joy to experience. On a personal level, they are very genuine and authentic to work with, which I greatly admire in people.
Don demonstrates excellent character and work ethic, and their designs are a testament to that integrity. They have a keen eye for consistency and detail, which makes their work truly stand out on the team. Don goes above and beyond to execute clients’ preferences, requests, and inspirations to a “T,” and these tasks are not always easy, so I give them much credit for accomplishing such feats.
I also appreciate that while their designs are very consistent, they always bring their own unique style and creative nuance to the product, making their work more personal, which is rare in a uniform world. Something I truly appreciate as a designer is working with someone who is passionate about their craft and passionate about who they are. When a person combines these things into their work, that is when the magic happens. I believe these are the ingredients for understanding others and bringing a business’s vision to life. It truly is an art form, and Don is a true artist.
